- Sharing a bottle of wine (or three) with an old school friend - Facebook does come in handy sometimes. I’ve been able to reconnect with a lot of old friends I should never have let go.
- Midnight kisses from a nine month old kitten - More about her later, but yes, the cat population of my household is back up to 2.
- Making my own chocolate - Sort of. All you need is some moulds, your favourite chocolate combination and a refrigerator. This will really come in handy around Easter time.
- Watching old episodes of Stargate SG-1 - And having a husband who doesn’t mind you squealing over all the not to subtle Jack/ Sam moments.
- New personal/ gaming websites - Pioneer Project is a must visit. It’s really good to see Michelle’s website back up and running.
Find out about Grace in Small Things and consider taking part yourself.

This will be our route, and we’ll be hiring a motorhome for the journey.
It’s something my husband and I have always wanted to do before we turn thirty. Well, he’s twenty-nine next year so time is running out. We’re still at the planning stage, but just knowing we’re going ahead with it next year has made me very excited.

Brown Owl (is talking to Brownies about being a responsible citizen): We have laws for a good reason. How would you like it if you lived in an area where everyone did whatever they wanted: where there was broken glass and dog mess all over the pavements, graffiti on the walls? Would you like it if no one in your area worked, meaning no money for nice things? A place where there was a lot of crime and no hope?
Somewhat predictably the girls begin jumping up and down excitedly and saying things like “that would be so cool!”, except for one who looks confused.
Confused girl to other Brownie: She’s talking about Salford, right?

I think it’s probably about time I began to use this blog, and what better way to start than to mention Amanda’s visit to Manchester? I must admit I was somewhat nervous about having her stay as I didn’t know her very well but my fears proved to be unfounded. We got on great and had a blast – on Friday evening in a bar in Chorlton, and on Saturday exploring the city centre. All reports of hot lesbian activity have been grossly under exaggerated, and Amanda is welcome back to my porn studio spare room any time.
I also got to meet Jenny, who is very cute and very funny; and Catherine, who is quiet and thoughtful but just as friendly. Thank you for a fun weekend ladies, even if you did all make fun of me when I felt ill on the Manchester Eye. D:

Okay, so I now have my theme looking the way I want it. But this isn’t the way it looks, honest. It didn’t take me three months to figure it out, I’ve just had a very busy schedule lately and decided to put my wedding, honeymoon and other such things before this blog is all. During the rest of the week you may notice me fixing a few bugs here and there and slowly adding content. I hope to have this all ready for real honest to god blog posts by 1 December.

Hello there, thanks for visiting! This is just a temporary page that will be up until I finish working on my own theme and rustling up some basic content - I hope you’ll come back in a couple of weeks to see how I’m getting on. In the meantime, why don’t you take a look at some of the great blogs/sites listed in my links list?
Bye for now,
Tanya
